Twitter Shocker

Twitter Shocker

One can get dumped in a split second

I know a number of experts have written so much about tips dos etiquettes and don’ts already

Twitter is such an amazing forum where world geographies will erase and a person sitting in Atlanta could interact with an individual living somewhere in Africa or India

Unknown-strange peoples will get to now each other through one liner or Blogs

The big question is: Have they become friends?

I guess not; these are individuals pursuing their own goals according to their personal taste or choices or we can say according to their capacities and way of life

So, if the above is true will Twitter become a waste of time for them?

This is a question which each of us can say or answer in our own manner according to the actual experience with people or individuals across the globe

Right this moment a senior Indian Diplomat is facing very uncomfortable situation by Govt. of India when he broadcasted his views casually on Twitter about the Government Policy in terms of Visa issued to foreigners to visit India in the wake of Terror attacks of Mumbai 26/11. His views are liberal and want easy access to tourist/business visas and he argued that tighter visa norms could reduce the number of tourists thus causing slump in tourist revenues, he also said that the actual terrorists never required a visa to get in, so why the big deal?

Now coming to my subject domain of film writing screen play or film making I think this is one area where people can really achieve wonderful results if they could trust share cooperate or collaborate through means like Twitter

But the truth is knowingly or unknowingly [more so unknowingly] I was dumped by very important people in the film world because my lack of knowledge about them or I said something really silly that offended them immediately; this was enough for them to click on the un-follow key in a split second

My last word on this short Article: as far as film making is concerned and the film folks on the internet forums we have to come out beyond the space of internet and help each other to make realistic ideas into action and see for themselves tangible results

People like Danny Boyle [slumdog millionaire] are never shy to work with any strange people or in any typical situation beyond their comfort zone.

Thank you
